I did have some posts drafted and nearly ready to post, but just didn't get my computer out much. So, I'll be doing some quick catching up over the next few days.
Here is my Whiff of Joy Challenge entry, right under the wire. I have two cards here, both easel cards. The first card, given to my aunt and uncle, features Uru by illustrator Norma Fickel. Fun to color, sweet and cheerful. The paper is from the Signature Christmas collection by My Mind's Eye. The image is colored with Copics. Keeping this card simple (quite a trick for me!) reminds me of the simple joys of Christmas.
The second card features Henry Mouse by illustrator Alison Acton. I gave this card to my brother and sister-in-law. The plaid dp is from my scrapbook stash and the poinsettias from Prima. I colored the image with Copics. I just think this card is so warm and cozy. More marshmallows, please!
The holiday season is in full swing and I hope it is a joyous one for you all. I am excited to have my son home very soon. We are planning a "Back to Basics" Christmas, remembering that this is a celebration of Christ's birth and God's love for us. There's no greater gift!
Thank you for stopping by! Your visits are blessings that I treasure everyday.

Hi Barb,
I love those Images and the colouring is gorgeous!
Thak you for stopping by at my blog and leaving a lovely comment.......I have a confession. The brown snowflakes were stamped on last minute. I was just about to photograph the card and I realized there was no stamping to be seen so I went mad with the snowflakes!!! very glad I noticed it wouldn't have been much cop on Sunday stamp & sketch with no stamping!!LOL
These are both treasures made for keeps! If I had to choose, it would be the little mouse and mug because that mug just looks like I could reach out and touch it -- the shading and coloring make is so dimensional.
