A Special Couple's 69th Anniversary!

In 1941 the film "How Green Was My Valley" won the Academy Award.  Other classic films that year were "Citizen Kane", "The Maltese Falcon", and "Sergeant York".  The first Gold Record ever awarded went to orchestra leader Glenn Miller for "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and Les Paul built the first solid-body electric guitar.  In television, the network NBC was launched.

But most importantly,  my Uncle Earl and Aunt Lorraine were married on July 19th, 1941:

They are still awesome at 89 and 88 years, respectively, living in their own home, active in church and helping others at every chance.  An inspiration to everyone who meets them, I am proud to be one of many beneficiaries of their spirituality, encouragement, love, and support.

I wanted to make a special anniversary card for them with lots of bling for the sparkle they still have for each other.  Since I can't be with them in person, this is the card that is on its way to them now:

Happy Anniversary! I love you, Earl and Lorraine!
