So, for the challenge this week I went a little overboard with a pretty fancy card. One of my favorite illustrators, Mo Manning, just released this adorable girl with a Christmas stocking. I downloaded within minutes after seeing it on Mo's Facebook page. (Gotta love digital!) After coloring it I just had to go frilly and flowery with the card. Even though the colors aren't typical for Christmas (who's to say what is typical?) I thought it would make a nice card for a special little girl. So, with a bit of vintage, old lace, snowy swirls, pink roses and snowflakes, here is my card for this week's challenge.................
There's a lot going on here:
Image colored with Copics
DP from my stash of scrapbook papers
Ivory mulberry paper
Pink Bazzill card stock
Inkadinkadoo swirling snow stamp embossed with winter wonderland embossing powder
pink silk flowers with Recollections pearl brads in the centers
It took awhile to put this all together, but I think it was worth it. I hope you like it. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.
