Mo's Digital Challenge -- A Sketch

We've had so many fantastic ideas at Mo's Digital Challenge lately! Always fun to see what comes each week.  This week we have a fun sketch by Cathy, our hostess.   I like using sketches now and then to just go crazy with a theme and colors.  After sub-zero temperatures and lots of snow a couple of weeks ago, we've been thrust into balmy weather with highs at 70 and above.  Of course with weather like this our thoughts will turn to more outdoor-type activities, like the BEACH!

This image just might get you in the mood for a trip to the shore of your favorite ocean, lake or watering hole.  I had colored (with Copics) her last summer, but ran out of time to make a card before the leaves started turning.  I'm not one to use a lot of orange, but it really works for this project. In my scrap box I had these wonderful sunny pieces and added embellies to match.  It seems that this is a good time to use up stray materials and scraps.  Sort of a spring cleaning!  I'd much rather do this kind of spring cleaning than cleaning closets and the refrigerator!!

Here is Cathy's sketch.  I turned it sideways to accomodate the image.  Either way it is loads of fun!
