New Cloud Formation Appears Over the Missouri Ozarks

It's not often that one can be witness to a new weather phenomenon. In fact so unusual that, for the first time since 1951, a cloud type is under review as a new form called Undulatus asperatus.

For more about this awesome cloud form and more photos hop on over to Hampton Road Photography.

OH Barb, that is truly marvelous to see, and even more so that you captured it on film! Truly a magnificent photo! I love raining days and being inside on a blustery, dark afternoon and this is one terrific capture! Well done!

Oh my word, what a gorgeous, unusual, cloud formation - and marvellous that you captured it on camera as well, Barb. Will go over to your other blog later and have a look at the pics.

I was there at Silver Dollar City waiting in the parking lot for a shuttle. I commented to my wife saying " I've never seen that before." The whole town of Bransom emptyed out into the streets to see it. I guess no body else has ever seen it before. Something to remember forever. High light of my vacation. P.S. I got wet. Dan
