Valentine's Day will soon be here and Whiff of Joy's Challenge #65 has a LOVE theme to get those cards and gift projects ready!
I've been making quite a few Valentine cards in the past couple of weeks, but this one just might be the the most colorful! Willow is colored with Copics, though primarily the coral and peach shades. That combination worked so well with the June Bug DP from Basic Grey. This is the first time I layered more than one patterned paper in Nesties die cuts beneath the image. In fact, I used part of an oval die cut under Willow's legs to look like a seat. I like the "texture" created by the patterns. The flower, ribbon, brad and jewels are from my stash.
Not only does Whiff of Joy have this new challenge going on, but have you seen the new City Girl stamps? Talk about cute! Oh, and their first 2010 stamp kit, Birdie Love, is up for pre-order. So, whatcha waitin' for? Hop on over to Whiff of Joy to get all the news AND to see the DT's great projects this week!
I'm so glad you stopped by! Have a happy and safe weekend. If you are in the middle of the winter storm area please be safe. Cuddle by the fireplace and partake of your favorite warm beverage!
