Lovely Awards!

Recently I've received these lovely awards! These always make me feel warm and fuzzy all over!

The first one is from the funny and talented Helen at Paperholics Anonymous. She is a delightful lady as well as very creative. Please take a jog over and see her beautiful blog.

Isn't this a pretty award? I am blessed to have so many friends in blogland who have supported me, whether they know it or not, and I am passing this on to Carolyn, Lauri, Donna, Julie and Dawn. Many thanks for your inspiration and encouragement.

Who doesn't love ice cold lemonade, especially with warm weather upon us? This sweet award came from the refreshing and imaginative Leigh at Happi Leigh Scrappin'. You must visit her blog and see the beautiful and practical "Command Center" note books she has been making!

I am inviting everyone reading this to take this award for your own blog with my wishes for a fun and happy summer.
Spread the love to your faves..... and thank you for stopping by!

Lemonade, Hugs, and Lady Bugs!

My DH was home this weekend for the first time in 18 days --- the downside of the life of a long-haul trucker. We spent time shopping and relaxing and working around the house. So I didn't get cards made, but I did some coloring. I can do that without being tucked away in my studio. He is on the road again so I caught up on reading blogs and I found a surprise or two!!

First, I remembered that my dear friend Carolyn had treated me to not one, but two awards!! She is such a sweetheart in immensely talented! (I'm sorry I didn't get these out sooner, hon!)

I am passing this huggable little guy to Lauri, Joan, Nancy, Marion, and Julie H. "in appreciation of your lovely and witty comments and for always knowing the right thing to say at the right time".

These ladies are talented as well as caring, up beat, and supportive. Please take a look at their wonderful blogs.

Who doesn't love lemonade, especially with warm weather coming? Make mine pink, please, with a touch of strawberry. This cheerful lemonade stand is rolling on to Pattie, Nancy, Lauri, Marion, and Julie, 5 people who have shown a great attitude or gratitude this week and every week. I appreciate them!

Then this weekend Leigh blessed me with this adorable Lady Bug --- isn't she pretty?! I am passing this on to 10 papercrafters who are constant sources of inspiration to me: Carolyn, Kym, Joan, Amy, Mina, Lynette, Shannon, Chrissie, Barbara, and Helen. All very creative ladies.

This community of artist-bloggers is very amazing! I appreciate all the contacts I make, every chance to learn and improve my craft, and the friendships. So, if you visit my blog and leave comments, please feel free to take any or all of these awards as your own, too. Hugs from me to you!

Tis the Season of Awards!

Wow, I am overwhelmed at all the awards that have come my way. One of the best things about blogging is meeting people from all over the world with the same interests and being able to recognize their good works with awards. So receiving them is such a good feeling.

This week I received two more awards and they are so very special. The first one touches the cheerleader in me. Nancy at Windstar Creations gave me this one:

I love Nancy's beautiful cards. Even more I love her heart and her spirit of giving. She is one busy lady but still finds time to make literally hundreds of cards when duty calls. On top of all that, Nancy regularly visits her blogging buddies, leaving sincere comments and encouragement. Please take a jaunt to her blog and get to know my friend and encourager.

So many others have left me words of encouragement, which help to keep me going when sometimes the mojo just isn't there. So, I am passing this award along to these ladies who have been so generous with their comments and time:

1. Heidi
2. Leigh
3. Mary Jo
4. Carolyn
5. Barbara

The second award is this beauty that I received from another beauty Carolyn at P.M.S Etc. If you haven't seen Carolyn's work you just have to go visit! She is a fantastic crafter and a loving person. Here is what she sent me:

Isn't it gorgeous? I know I feel the love and want to pass it on to everyone! In particular, these five ladies have tugged at my heart because they generously spread the love to their fellow crafters and to their families and friends:

1. Patricia
2. Marion
3. Julie
4. Julie
5. Nancy

Please visit all these fantastic talented folks and spread the encouragement and love!

What a Wonderful Day This Has Been!

Wow! Two more awards! While I was sending Donna at Popsicle Toes the Marie Antoinette Award she was sending me these beauties:

Aren't they terrific!? I feel so special today! Thanks everyone!
I get to do a couple of fun things now! The "Your Blog is Fabulous" award calls for a listing of five of my addictions (only five?) so here goes, in no particular order:
1. Starbucks coffee, either at home or the coffee shop. I love to sit with a cuppa, listen to the music, and brainstorm!
2. Stamping --- uh, ya think?
3. Photography, as you can see in my other blog Picture This At Last (yes, this is a shameless plug!)
4. Browsing for books at Barnes & Noble, and bringing home a new stack --- oh and enjoying a Starbucks while browsing.
5. Blogging where I meet the nicest and most talented people!
Now for the hard part, picking five more people to award these to.....
First, I appreciate all who visit and leave me words of encouragement and friendly hellos. All of you deserve this recognition, so I invite you to lift these for your own blogs.
Now to pay special mention to these fine ladies:
Have a happy day everyone! Please be sure to visit all the blogs above --- you'll be glad you did!

Marie Antoinette Award!

What fun this morning to open my blog and find this beautiful from Barbara at HunnyBunnyCards in the UK. She is a fabulous designer and artist. Please visit her blog for a real treat!
The above award is called 'The Marie Antoinette' a Real Person, a Real Award. The rules are:
1. Link to the person who gave you the award
2. Nominate 7 more persons
3. Link the nominees and let them know about this award
4. Post the award on your blog

So now I am honored to nominate 7 lovely bloggers which is very difficult because there are so many talented crafters out there in blogland but here goes:
These ladies are not only "real, caring people" but also extremely talented. You'll enjoy visiting them. In fact, all the bloggers I follow are terrific, talented people and deserve this award, too.
Thanks, again, Barbara!

She is a very talented paper crafter and I am happy to know her. It is very difficult to choose, so I wish to pass this on to everyone on my "List of Talented Papercrafters". I check in with all of you because I love your blogs and admire your work. So, please, take this award as your own and pass it on to whomever you wish! This butterfly loves to fly so send her all over the world!

Thank you, Carolyn, for This Beautiful Award!

I haven't been updating my blogs this week in order to work on all the Christmas cards I want to get done. But I have blogging buddies out there who make sure I do have something to do online! Today I received this beautiful award from my dear friend Carolyn. She is also one busy paper crafter and card designer, as well as a friend and inspiration to so many, including me! Thank you, Carolyn for your thoughtfulness and friendship!

Here is the award... isn't it lovely!

Here is the wording that accompanies this award:
This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY- nearness in space, time, and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming; and these kind bloggers, aim to find friends and to be friends. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please, give more attention to these writers!

Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more, and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award.

Choosing only eight more recipients was the difficult part! I have long lists of favorite blogs, and they are favorites because they all make this blogging experience special. But I did choose and it is my pleasure to pass this award to these eight bloggers who are creative crafters, talented photographers, inspired writers, and gifted artists. Above all, they establish supportive and fun friendships, and isn't that what blogging is all about? I follow all of these ladies' blogs daily and have been honored with their visits as well. Please take a jog over to their sites --- you'll be glad you did! Don't forget Carolyn... she's a sweetheart!

Thank you all for making blogging so much fun!
