There seems to be a theme in my last few posts: lots of hair and flowing fabric. What can I say? I really love coloring these images. This one is "Enchanted Princess" by Make it Crafty. I think I should have made this digital image a bit larger for this card but I had intended to put it on a square card when I started out.
Then I found these coordinated papers in the Lemon Flower mat stack by DCWV and it grew into a larger card. I like to pick up silk flowers at Michael's and Hobby Lobby that are small enough for cards. The best selection is in the wedding department. A touch of bling in the lower corner for balance. I don't have a sentiment on this yet because I'm not sure how I will use it, but it will go in the lower left corner, I think.
I used Copics for the coloring. The sheer part of her dress was very fun to color and provided a nice challenge. I was just thinking, this might make a nice St. Patrick's Day card, but I'm not holding on to it that long!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again soon. Not sure what I will be posting, but my friend Jo is coming for a couple of days to play in the studio with me. Who knows what we will come up with?

Hi Barb. This little princess is gorgeous. You did a fan-tastic job coloring the filmy folds of her dress. Awesome..and I know from trying, this is a hard effect to achieve. You done it good! Your card layout is so pretty. That is an area I really struggle to get right. Like the papers you used as well. Thanks for sharing such a lovely card. BTW, I love your blog & business title. What a sweet way to remember your Grandma.
