Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge -- What's Love Got To Do With It?

Two posts today!  I find myself in catch-up mode again.

The challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil this week is all about LOVE!  All kinds of love!  This was the perfect chance to use this illustraton of Jack and Ginger that I've had colored (with Copics) for awhile.  These cute lovebirds remind me of my aunt and uncle who are coming up on their 69th anniversary!
The card is very simple with a couple of specialty papers from K&Company.  The 5x7 card base is shimmery cardstock and I cut a 4.5 by 6.5 inch opening in the front.  I used an acid free spray adhesive on the front of the Jack and Ginger illustraton and attached them to the underside of the printed acetate sheet.  Then I attached the acetate to the front of the card.  The dp inside the card is also from the K&Co stack.  That's it!  I didn't add any other embellishments; it just didn't seem to need it!  For a personal note I will add a printed panel to the back of the card.  The 5x7 inch size makes this easily framed for display or scrapbooking.  Here are some other views of it:

If you haven't already, hop over to Mo's challenge to see the awesome creations by the DT.  And Mo is busy creating so many new illustrations that you can see at Digital Pencil, Too

Thank you for stopping by today!
