This is my beautiful niece Alexis who lives near Portland, Oregon. She flew into Branson yesterday for a 5-day visit with me. Alexis is my brother's only daughter. She is 19 and lights up my life! She did bring this coat with her and it's a good thing, too. It's going to get C-O-L-D here!
I am so thrilled to have her here and we have already enjoyed some wonderful girl-time today. I think I already have her hooked on making cards!! We have three days of snowy weather ahead of us so we joined the throngs at Walmart and loaded up on staples and comfort food. Now we can hunker down with the fireplace going and get to some serious cardmaking! There is no better way to spend these winter days.
Be safe out there this week. It's going to get nasty again. Thanks for stopping by!

Sorry you couldn't join in the challenge this week but I hope you enjoy your visit from Alexis (who is gorgeous BTW)
You be safe in this awful weather you are having over there. Crafting and staying warm are definitely a god idea xxx
Hi Barb, pretty cold here in Germany and it keeps on snowing......brrrrr!!
Can't think of anything better than hunkering down in front of a roaring fire and crafting with friend and what a gorgeous friend/niece you have, she has a beautiful smile that lights up her face.
Enjoy yourselves.
hugs
Heather xx
