The Happileigh Scrappin' Challenge Design Team is off and running and ready to introduce more of Leigh's awesome digis! How she keeps coming up with so many adorable and fun stamps is just amazing! Many thanks to all who participated in our blog hop last week and for visiting our blogs. For the announcement of the winner hop on over to the challenge blog.
I am especially crazy about this "Cozy Cottage" and used it for a scrapbook page to go into a book for my son's new home. I colored the cottage with Copics and detailed the climbing roses with Flower Soft Heather. The cardstock is an 8" x 8" page from the DCVW Mariposa stack. (If you love butterflies as I do, you will love this stack!) The sentiment is attached to a vellum envelope with vellum roses.
Here is a close up of the cottage. I can image so many uses for this charming image.
I also love to use border punches and stacking them for extra effect. Here I used three Martha Stewart border punches: the picket fence (white cs), pansies (scraps from my stash), and the vine (from a coordinating dp in the Mariposa stack).
Thank you for stopping by, but please don't stop here. Join us in the challenge at Happileigh Scrappin --- you'll be so glad you did!
