I'm Going To Be a Mother-in-law!!
Many of you know that I have eagerly been awaiting "official" news about my son Scott and his girlfriend, Paula. I am proud and happy to say that news has arrived! Scott and Paula became engaged on Friday, October 22, at the Navy Ball in Leavenworth, Kansas. The ball was to celebrate the 235th anniversary of the U.S. Navy and Scott made it even more memorable by proposing to Paula... on one knee... in front of everyone!!! He's had it planned for weeks and Paula was stunned, not that he asked, but that he chose to pop the question in front of an audience. That is so out of character for Scott! It's a good thing she said "yes"!
